1. Rosin glyceride is made by esterification of rosin or light-colored rosin with glycerol. Used in pressure-sensitive
adhesives and other industries.
2. Glycerol ester of hydrogenated rosin is made by esterification of hydrogenated rosin or water-white hydrogenated rosin;
it is used in pressure-sensitive adhesive and hot-melt adhesive grade coatings.
3. Packing:

Application

 

This product is used for gum base of gum, packing adhesive of food industry. Food grade ester gum can be used as a chewing gum base component and an emulsifier or stabilizer/density adjustment agent for flavouring oils in beverages. Sometimes, its name may be shortened as glycerol ester of rosin in the ingredient list.
Ester gum can be a substitute for brominated vegetable oil, which is used to improve the stability of certain drinks by preventing other ingredients from separating.
