Sodium citrate is used as an acidity regulator, flavor, and stabilizer in the food and beverage industries; as an anticoagulant, phlegm, and diuretic; in the detergent industry, it can replace tripolyphosphate Sodium is used as an auxiliary for non-toxic detergents; it is also used in brewing, photographic drugs and electroplating.
Sodium citrate is the most important citrate at present. It is mainly produced by the fermentation of starches to produce citric acid, which is then neutralized with alkali substances. It has the following excellent properties :(1) Safe and non-toxic. Because the raw material of sodium citrate is basically from grain, it is absolutely safe and reliable, and will not cause harm to human health.
In food industry, as gelatinizing agent, thickener, deflocculant used in health food such as ice cream, beverage, form food, meat product, jam ,health, etc. Used as bonding agent, biology bonding agent, sustained-release and controlled-release tablet, medical dressing, dental impression material.
